Removing T-Jet Hubs from the Axle?

I purchased some T-Jet hubs for my DST Comm not too long ago and replaced the control panel knobs, but a few of them are attached to the metal axles, and I can't pry them off to replace the jewel bezels (I'm going to support them internally before you tell me they won't fit ;)).

Anyone have any advice on removing them? Are they glued on, or should steady pressure do the trick?

It's an old (1963 or so) slotcar wheel hub from the ThunderJet series by Aurora. These were used on the original Comms for the control panel knobs and then flipped upside down and had jewels glued on top for the control "lights".

Thanks for the info, and the slight hi-jack. I plan on getting an AA com and was planning on doing the mods mentioned in that thread. I'm a bit of a ST noob when it comes to part names.

If I remember correctly when I used to play with them, you took something like a fork under them then another axle placed it over the inserted axle and tapped it till the hub came loose. Just don't drive the new axle into the hub.
