Red Hood Knife

Last week i saw Under the Red Hood with Friends and they had the Idea i should make the Knife (and the Helmet but so many made it before).

We talked about the Knife and the lines in the Movie about Red Hood is using it.
Batman said in that one Scene that there is not much what can cut his ropes and the blade looks a bit like a Batarang.
So, even if the Blade didnt quite fit the shape of a (half) Batarang i thing it would make total sense.

Here are some Pictures from my first try, made of Cardboard with a thin aluminum sheet glued on it.
I will cut the final blade out of a thicker aluminum plate.

What you guys think?

So, here is the blade i cut out of the thicker aluminum plate.
I have a 8mm aluminum plate, from this i will cut the thicker metalparts, i will make the grip from polymer clay.

I never noticed that before. And the knife looks great man. What did you use to cut the knife out of the aluminum?

I used my Dremel with a cutting disc and a milling bit to "sand" the edges.
Its only 1.5mm aluminum so its easy, cutting thicker aluminum is a pain.

Here are some new Pictures.
Its almost together but i have to polish the whole thing and put some bolts in the handle.
The Blade is a bit thin and i think i will make a second, if i can get a 2-3mm aluminum plate.

also the thing is tons of people have made red hood helmets as of right now only 4th wall has made a good one. snake pit has a super long chin, GCC ....well theres a billion things wrong there, and the others are awful or ok. there are a few decent new 52 ones(i'm working on a hybrid of new and pre 52) but the best original under the red hood one is 4th wall its truly a shame their customer service went to ****
