Hey everyone I'm having a hard time trying to find replica graflex buttons - ones without the extra screw from the bottom - and kobold d-rings. Saberkit.com seems to be the only place but that looks pretty dead. If anyone would be able to give me some point in the right direction I'll be much obliged. Cheers.

That's spelled : Blast-tech and send them an email first before ordering since I'm not quite certain everything is readily available. For a genuine red button to accompany the original red button on your vintage graflex, track down a graflex 2 Cell, unless you have a Parks graflex of course then you need a replica red button :D

So I gather you want to built a Luke ESB lightsaber? Do you have a vintage graflex or a replica for your base hilt? Got any pics since this is the prop section, you need to show your work in progress with pictures and when available to you place a WTB in the junkyard in due time when none of us can be of further assistance, furthermore you need to try to be a little patient when building a lightsaber from different vintage parts . . . . I like to see it as my quest/game to find the parts needed for as cheap as possible and I've still been on an ongoing Tee Trek to find the real vintage T-track as used on screen for well over 6 years now ... just to put things into perspective for you :lol

No, I understand. You are correct, I'm building a Luke ESB. So far I only have the Graflex, but everything else - bar the red button and belt clip obviously - is on its way. The annoying thing is I've wasted near to 10 years getting around to doing this, and in that time it seems most all the sites I found selling the stuff have gone. I'm not interested in everything being legit, replica parts are fine. I just wanna get to it and get creating

If you have a real vintage graflex go for a real vintage red button to go with for the ESB version otherwise the replica red button screams replica from any which way you watch the lightsaber. Here you see a replica button on a vintage graflex :

and here a real vintage red button :

So go and look for a graflex 2 Cell or perhaps even a red button on it's own (I've seen them on ebay) and a Kobold or Linhof flashgun for your D-ring contraption.

how does one attach the D ring to those kobold clips? I have 2 resin copys and there doesnt seem to be a hole on the sides...do you cut or drill it on?

On the original Kobold clamp there's already one hole after a tiny ball is removed ... you need to drill another hole opposite to create the second hole for your D. So in case you have resin copies you need to drill 2 holes ... open up your D just slightly and add in one hole and then the other, capiche?
