I found this on ebay. TOS phaser anyone?

It's a WWII German Issue army light. Or so the auction on ebay said.

Is that one of those that you squease the lever to charge it up? I really don't see much of the TOS Type 1 in it though

No idea as to vintage, but as I recall it might have used AA or AAA batteries so I'd wager 50's or 60's. Around 1/2" to 3/4" thick--unlike the Type I, the small side is the business end.

Pics from a couple of past eBay auctions--I had some saved of a black version, but lost them when a past computer crashed.

I have one of these Magnavox remotes and it's from the correct era and is just a bit bigger than a P1 and has the same overall shape and the two buttons kind of remind me of the P1 rising "site".

As improbable as it seems, I am bringing this ancient thread back from beyond.

Anyone know what kind of flashlight this is?

Thank you.

I never could find what any type of "brand" name for it, all of the auctions were generic sounding..."vintage", "neat looking", pocket", etc.

Hilarious!

Speaking of "phaser inspirations"... anybody have any home built phasers from childhood? I made a few out of clay. They were... kind of hilarious. I'll have to see if I can dig up some photos.

Nope, but I found an old wood tool box my dad made for me which I turned upside down and applied various color electrical tape as TNG LCARS style buttons to use for an ops console. Need to find that old thing...
