Ready Player One Holy Hand Grenade

I bought a Holy Hand Grenade kit to finish to go with my Ready Player One props. It wasn't until I took some screen shots for reference that I realized how different this was from the Monty Python version of the grenade. Even with the crappy screen grabs I took you can clearly see its not even close to the same thing. Has anyone else tried to make the ready player one version?

It was on screen for such a short time, I didn't realise how far off it was. But those pics confirm it.

Yeah, some people might disagree but, I think it looks pretty awesome. More grenade-like. And I like the idea of the added LEDs. Unfortunately I noticed this after I bought the 3D printed kit. Lesson learned I guess. Trust but verify.

I started making my first lightsaber and chose Darth Vader's. I started buying all the weird stuff on it and then saw Saberbay's ROTJ version of Vader's lightsaber that looks much better. I'm changing my design to match his. That extra stuff I bought will go to waste.

Looks good. I tried to do one but I'm a small time collector not a prop maker so mine wound up in the trash. I'll keep an eye on your thread.
