Ray Harryhausen 3 volume book set with tons of original puppet photos and more.

This past May I was contacted by publishers, Archive Editions, about a Ray Harryhausen book they were doing as a 3 volume set on Ray's vast and historic career.

The editor and publisher of Archive Editions is Ernest Farino, a 2-time Emmy® Award winning visual effects supervisor for films and television including The Terminator, HBO's From the Earth to the Moon, Children of Dune, and others).

Mr. Farino said he loved the 4 page article I did on Ray's retrospective presented at A.M.P.A.S this past summer in Beverly Hills, CA. and asked me if I would be interested in contributing some of the photos I had taken at the event.

I of course said, "Yes". :thumbsup

That sounds awesome, definitely going to keep an eye out for those.

Congrats on being asked to contribute to the book, that must be a good feeling :thumbsup

I had the privilege of going to the exhibit, and it was amazing. Glad to hear they'll be using your pics in Volume 3! I have Volume 2, and it's an amazing book! Looking forward to picking up the new one, awesome job :thumbsup

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

The publisher sent me one of the full pages with 2 of my Centaur photos from The Golden Voyage of Sinbad. It's on page 377 of the book.

Here it is.

They also told me they're using photos in Volume 1 too :thumbsup.
