Raoul Duke's costume from Fear and Loathing

Hey guys,

A couple months ago some of the costumes and props from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas were put on display. I figured the photo belongs here.

For a few weeks I've been trying to figure out what material the shirt is made out of to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

Cool photo, thanks for sharing, where did you see this display? The shirt appears to be made of terry cloth. I have a replica from ebay that is not the correct material. And there are vintage terry cloth shirts in the same style on ebay but good luck ever finding the same pattern.
