Which means the texture on my button is wrong from the existing prop. Any suggestions? Should I leave it or fix it?

Oh if anyone wants one, I just bought one, regal robot makes a magnet for your fridge
If you look at the button you can almost see the 3 grooves on the bottom. You can also see the little notch or fin i guess on the side of it to confirm which is the top and which is the bottom. The way they cut this thing is very strange and adds a lot more work into cutting it than they needed to.
Working on the frame now also when luke throws the skull at the switch the top light goes out and the 2 bottom lights go on. I'll put a nonc momentary button in this thing so when you push the button it'll do exactly that. I also tested lights today.

You can get a decent image of the top of the switch to see the way they trimmed it in this image.
I will say the way they cut this thing when it gets down to doing it, makes absolutely no sense. Its a pain to do and adds a lot of extra work. But its what they did so I guess that leaves me with no choice.
Looking for some suggestions about the top light placement. Its difficult to tell but it looks like to me that the light trim partially goes into the top of the switch.
I'd hate to guess and be wrong. I filled some micro bubbles i had on my side pieces I made casts of. I need to fill the voids now underneath the side pieces and around the switch. I added more bondo to re-texture the button. I also noticed a slight gap between the top light trim and the switch. I filed it out a little and moved it down so its resting on the switch.
I had another question, does anyone know of an efficient way to fill the space underneath the side pieces? I could just fill them and shape them, just wondering if there's a better way of doing it.

I think you light placement is correct, in the image it looks like shadow to me.
I found some new lights. I believe these are the proper lights. The only difference is the trim. These have a dark trim like the screen image.
The light manufacturer is,

I could not find any orange ones so I bought some yellow ones and just switched out the "lens from each light
Filled in the side pieces. Now I just need to clean up around the edges so I can cast this thing. Its getting there.
