I am using my classic comic style magneto helmet as a base.
I dropped it on the concrete floor, so it was the perfect candidate.

I wanted a up sweep flair in the back of the helmet,
so i cut slits along the base and use a heat gun to soften and bend the flanges upward.

Thats all i have for now.
Thanks

Hah! Amazing!

Please do a version with a massive fist print square in the middle of the face/eyeball part!

Great work!!!

my belated wip. :)

I used styrene to layout the face plate door.
It is built up with 3-4 layers of styrene.

Some heat to curve the doors and a quick test fit for looks.
The vision is thru gaps between the brow and the top of the doors.
It is set back and hard to see, hopefully the illusion is that there is no eyes. ;)

The raised crest area of the magneto helmet was grind away.

View attachment 155327

I then used 2 part epoxy clay to sculpt the raised brows and furrow lines between them.

I glued foam to the top to have a base to sculpt the bird skull? crest with
the same clay.

The clay dried hard over nite.
The next day, all the sculpts are nice and hard.

Some more grinding and sanding to shape.

One horn was sculpted for casting.
I wanted to have the horn looks like it was growing out through the helmet.

clay wall and quick brush mold.
