I misread the title when I first saw it as " R.I.P. Mirax"

CB2001, before you go down this road of confusion any further...

They are referring to the fact that seeing "R.I.P." makes them think of the passing of a person, and "Miramax" at first glance, makes them think of our longtime and beloved member "Mirax_H".

A suggestion was made to add the word "Studio" to the thread title as a way to eliminate any possible confusion that this thread is about the passing of a person as opposed to the closing of a movie studio.

Hope that clears things up.

Okay. That helps. Thanks. But I think by doing that, it would cause more confusion because people will think that Miramax was a studio when it wasn't. Just putting "Independent Film Distribution Company" at the end of the sentence would be more logical.

You're right, but come on! Who here didn't think of it as "studios"? :lol
I sure did (though I know deep down it's not, I still think of it as a studio)
