Quick question on Foamies

I have finally decided to make a costume after looking round this site for a while. I have decided to make my armour out of foamies and was just wondering whether you can heat them after making the armour or do you have to heat each individual section before assembly? Also, some very kind folks have started to show how to make the backpack etc but then seem to stop. Does anyone have a huntorial that shows the complete method from start to finish showing (for example) the inner part of the backpack that goes on the pred's back?

heating foamies individualy is what i would recomend. i have never tried heating the armor when its put together.
