I want to make myself a poncho based off the design Qui Gon wears as a "disguise" in TPM. It has a unique shape in that it comes to a point in the front and back (and apparently on the sides as well), as opposed to a traditional or "Luke" style poncho that is cut straight across. I've heard it described as "diamond shaped".
I'm looking for an accurate pattern, or at least detailed instructions. I already tried making a square and rotating it and it didn't work. I know that the shape is more intricate than that. I did run across someone's post at the Jedi Council forums which backed up my theory that it is cut dimensionally...but it was worded too confusingly for me to actually come up with the design.
I know that there's guys at the Rebel Legion who have made these. Anyone wnat to hook me up with a pattern? I would be so grateful.
