questions on trimming stormtrooper armor

Stormtrooper armor is meant to be "assembled" and will have to be cut to fit together appropriately in areas where there is excess flashing from the orignial pull. The peices you have in question need nothing more than to have the excess trimmed off. A simple fix :)

I have edited the topic,
I hope that these new information can help you.

Thanks Steve for your answer. :)
Excuse if I insist, I am not certain to have understood your answer, :( I don't cut the pieces?

As they are the pieces now they don't seem me correct. :(

Cut the outer piece to fit the inner.

Fit and comfort are more important than anything else. Don't hesitate to trim where necessary.

I took the liberty of changing your thread title so that people will better understand the topic.

No need to cut it really, but go for the green if you think you need to.I'd make sure the bottom of the biceps match up then trim the tops which are covered by the shoulder bells.

Your MFX biceps are the same either side just like all the other suit's that were cast from TE's ROTJ.

Actually my old TE suit had matching biceps because he only had one bicep to mold. That all changed when he got other parts from sources with screen used suits. My current suit and one before it both had alternate biceps, shoulder bells, and an alternate calf piece that had previously just been mirrored to match the other. The later generation of his suits had each piece individually sourced from ROTJ suit parts.

I think the TE suit with the doubled shins/arms is commonly referred to as the ROTJ (being from the first RTOJ suit). The other parts were added after the ANH-style restoration.

Yeah I was refering to the first ROTJ suit he recast which was only a part suit, resulting in parts being duplicated to make up a complete suit. The bicep were one such part and that is why your MFX has two of the same side biceps.
