Okay ladies and gentlemen of the RPF. This Halloween one of my costume selections is the animated version of Gaston from Disney's Beauty and The Beast. The struggle I have run into though is how to go about achieving his ponytail.
I am desperately attempting to avoid a full blown wig as they never look quite right and are annoying to wear for long periods on end. My current hair is fairly long and comes down past my nose when combed forward, but the sides of my head are trimmed a bit shorter. I usually wear my hair with a side part and a bit of "pompadour" in the front.
What I am wondering is, are there products that can attach to the hair at the back of my head that are simple enough for me to install and remove on my own without much hassle?
Extensions perhaps?
A clip on/in system that could work for this costume?
Any other ideas or thoughts you may have?
If necessary I can provide photos of my current hair situation for reference.
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions anyone may have regarding this.
