question about resin/sculpey...

It can. It also won't stick to the resin. I would use either superglue or automotive glazing puddy to fill bubbles.

well, some parts are pretty mangled and require some re-sculpting as well - any ideas?

Will harden without heating, and will stick to almost anything, water clean up... great stuff!

It comes in 2 parts, you just mix them, and you have about a 2-3 hr work time before it hardens. In about 12hrs, it fully hardens, and can be easily sanded.

Aves works great!! I also use plumbers puddy if I'm in a hurry.
