What goe son first. pros aid or the paint? (airbrushing)

and can u put the pros aid in the air brush?

Also, does the Mr i skin have to be white or can you airbrush over it due tot he latex is covering the Red. just some things i got in my mind. cause i may or may not get acrylic paint to cover up the red with some suggestions.

Brush on prosaide first. Do not spray it thru the airbrush, it will clog it and be a real pain.

Then use your acrylics after that. If when painting the surface no longer feels sticky from prosaide. Add more prosaide to help the paint stick.

Prosaide is the difference between a solid paintjob and one that cracks and peels off after the first time wearing it.

Prosaide is key!

Make sure you seal the paint with more prosaide and permawet, maybe neokazama will chime and list his new varnish, I can not remember the name of it.

You there chris?

I mix my pros aid with the paint and it works jus fine through the airbrush. When you're done with the paint up seal it with permawet. Any color will cover the red it will just be more or less coats depending on the color you choose.

alright so i got my latex suit all latexed. for the base coat. i got satin eggwhite color type deal. . i remember your suppose to put the pros aid on first then paint. i did so. when i jsut bent it a little i created the new grand canyon on my suit. Apparently i did something wrong or used something wrong.. unles si havent waited long enough. like how long does it take to dry and can you even use spraypaint on it? trying to get the base done tonight. so any advise would be awsome

Ok, first off. A little forum etiquette.

Do not create multiple threads on the same topic. Especially when you NAME each separate Topic with the same Title. I merged your two threads, for organizational purposes it is best to keep it all in one place.

To answer your question.

ye aim not guna lie i totally realized that i had another post on the same subject. and same name. forgot about the old one. i found out the problem. just waited for the Aid to dry. i was touchin it around 5 mins after applying. so i guess self stupidity. what i meant by the small bend big cracks. well. kinda what i just said. if i touched/bent the skin a little, it would like make a ... big... crack like a few inches long. but the rest if fine since i didnt mess with it anymore after i noticed that.

Reguardless ty for the info. still trying to get it done before next weekend.

and yea i cant type for **** lol
