Sweet.  :D  That's less than 2 hours away from me.  Do you know if they allow video/still cameras?

They didn't allow cameras during the Lord of the Rings exhibit that was there last year so I doubt they will allow it for this unfortunately. Still sounds cool though.

Actually they allowed pics and vid.

Although this was a private showing (opening gala deal) an employee told me that he was told that Lucasfilm was allowing pics to help promote the exhibit, unlike what happened at the LOTR exhibit.

Hopefully they'll allow pics once it opens to the public - tomorrow I think. It would be shame if they didn't.

Cool. That would be awesome if they allowed cameras. That was my only disappointment with the LOTR exhibit. Must get tickets.

Will this be a traveling exhibit, like MoM?

Or should I start checking airfare?

Am I blind?  I'm tying to find the schedule again, and can't locate it...?

How long will it be in Boston?

I believe it's gone already or soon to be. IIRC it was till April/06, but unsure on what day.

...as you wish...

The Boston show does end in April, but I'm note sure the exact date. The site has SW events scheduled thru the 30th so you could assume it goes thru then. The museum phone is...

617.723.2500 (Daily, 9am - 5pm EST)

the other cities listed are...

COSI, Columbus, OH, June - August 2006
Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, Portland, OR, October - December 2006
California Science Center, Los Angeles, CA, February - April 2007
Fort Worth Museum of Science & History, Fort Worth, TX, June - August 2007
The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA, February - April 2008
The Science Museum of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN, June - October 2008

hope that helps

That's about 25 minutes from my apartment, 10 minutes from my job.
Take a guess where I'll be during those months. :p

yeah, I just need a cloaking device for my pup tent so I can live next to the displays LOL. only thing I was hoping to see on that list was the fetts as well

Re: Props and Models and Costumes, oh my!

Hey folks,

The exhibit is currently in Philadelphia PA at The Franklin... formerly the Franklin Institute Science Musuem.

I happen to work there and would be happy to take some photos if anyone is looking for something specific. Stay tuned for the Training Remote color matching I'll be working on as I build up a kit.

If you're planning on coming get your tickets in advance... the weekends have been insanely busy.

Thanks to the R2 builders, 501st and the Rebel Legion for making the opening something truly special!
