Problems with the OT Forum link

I can't get the link to the OT forum to load, but individual OT links in the "new posts" section work ok. I'm using Google Chrome as my browser and I get a little message at the bottom of the page "Waiting for cache..." but it never loads.

Thoughts?

Are you referring to the "Off-Topic" link on the upper right?

Do you have the same problem if you click on this link?

http://www.therpf.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

also try to copy and paste the link into the address bar and see if you get the same results.

I have also noticed that the RPF is a little slow at the moment, but I don't know if this problem is being caused by that.

Yes, "Off-Topic", both links on the main page are not working for me.
The link in your post doesn't work either. :(
Its strange that the individual thread links for off topic threads work though.

That's because they are different pages that are being displayed... the problem that you are having is related to the "forumdisplay.php?=12" page, whereas the direct links are using the "showthread.php" page.

Have you tried completely clearing out your cache and cookies?

Yes, That's the first thing I did.
I figured as much, but I thought I would mention it anyway. :)

I just fired up Google Chrome, logged in and I am not having any problem clicking on the "Off-Topic" link, so for whatever reason it seems to be something specific to your computer and/or connection.

I tried it using the version that I had and also updated to the newest version (1.0.154.43) and still was able to use the "Off-Topic" link.

OK, now all the links are working just fine on my end.
I don't know what happened and how it got fixed, but thanks.

Those .php pages use variables that are passed into the page by the information in the link after the question mark (.php?f=12). So I created a link that contained all of the variables, not just the forum number. It looks like once those other variables were properly passed to the OT .php page, the problem was cleared up (or it could have been a totaly coincedence :lol).

Anyway, glad it's working now.
