The pred was lifting Taktarov up, so I guess that fits, size-wise.. however, the P1 looks fairly small on Fishburne

OMFG!!! i cannot express how glad i am to see these pics, link them to the "script", and just be completely ******* blown away at how awesome this is going to be!!!! you skeptics can rock on with your "AVP:r seemed promising, blah blah blah," i never thought either one of them, even from their trailors, was gonna be any kind of comparison to either of the originals, i tried to like them as much as possible, but in the end couldn't deny how terrible they were... and it depressed me, until i found out that this movie was in the works, i've been listening to the skepticism for a few months now and i'm glad to be able to say that "yes it won't be the original, but i'm pretty sure that it is gonna be worthy of recognition, the clips tell me that it's gonna be a million times better than any of the consequent sequels.

something i was worried about was the final looks on the Preds.. I think they have done alright.. they still Look AVPish.. big heads and small mouths.. but still looks very very cool.

also caught a glimpse of an unmasked pred but you couldn't see it properly, or it was the one with the half bio (the one thats similar to the ancient)

There actually is 7 from my count of the tri-lasers. And appears like one may be targetting his waist just out of shot. So perhaps 8? Also theres a shot where a pred is "reverse" hugging a tree, looks pretty cool. Designs seem nice from the sneak peek. Im getting excited for the trailer

flipping great to see it thou..in the scene near the end,when you see the blue rug to the left if you pause it it looks like the group have tied up a pred like ***** to the left,might be the reason in that scene why there getting attacked..

I thought the pred was holding the tree? Ill have a look again, would be cool if they capture one and "interorgate" it lol. I like the image of Laurence and the bio. On bloody disgusting.com it says that the shot with Topher and the tri lasers he had around 10 on him!!!! And there are 2 pred tribes in the film.

Im guessing they have done a AVP-r on us with the 7 plus laser sites, ( ie showing us the END or near the end of the film )

looks very much akin to the end of P2 when ALL the lost hunters appear and Danny says " ok whos next "


ONLY niggle is still the preds overall look, height /width and the stupid stance, ( WHO said a pred has to stand like he has 2 pineapples under his armpits? ).

but i am more than prepared to give it a chance to entertain me.

In the clip Rodriguez mentions that they have brought back the original predator from the first movie as well as a new breed. I'm assuming the original Pred is the one tied to the tree. Look at the similarities . . . so I'm guessing this flick takes place before P1.

so far, i like the sneak peeks,and rather leave it to that,i think when they show too much of movie footage,it spoils the film,stick to trailers that,show snipits and keep us interested,it makes you want to see the movie that way,overall i think we are in for a great movie when finished.

I do not understand the " we brought back the 1st Predator " comment, if the initial rumours were correct and they wanted Arnie in this for a cameo, then it CANNOT be set Pre P1, and unless the P1 was cloned, he aint coming back anytime soon.

Probably means The P1 LOOK.
