PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

So i got my replacement elder. He didnt even come in a graphics card, he came loose, wrapped in a plastic bag, with his backpack, pistol and sword in sheath. I unwrapped him and tested the joints, all were good except the right arm. SNAP. just like the original one I bought. not to mention his right foot has no paint on the toe nails / talons. Its unbelieveably rediculous. This doesn't give me much hope for Series 4.

Just wanted to show you guys something I have been working on. I have begun casting and hollowing some of the masks for these figures. It started as me wanting a mask accessory so my Classic can hold his mask as if he had removed it. The P1 mask will not fit on the head with out some very careful dremel work but it makes a good display piece. The others can be placed on the heads of appropriate figures. I'm also working on Berserker without bone jaw fully filled in and Tracker without Tusks fully filled in. I plan to make a Trophy case type display for mine.

So I wrote Adam at Neca another letter telling him that the replacement elder's right arm broke off at the joint. This was after he wrote and told me the joints had been checked on each and every figure before they shipped them out. So, I doubt they will send another replacement.

Its sad really.

I actually went on their facebook page, you might want to try that. I wrote them originally by filling the form you email in, and this guy named Adam responded. I have been emailing him ever since. I asked him the other day if the plastic problems had been resolved. I got the elder in the mail the next day, so i opened him and tried him out, and SNAP. Then I checked my email and he had written and said "the joints were tested on every figure before sending them out." So unless they were still hot out of the mold when they checked them, obviously they weren't all checked.

Funny thing is, I've bought two Classic 87 Preds and have not had a single issue with his joints.

Wow!That sucks man and its a damn shame.And even on FB they didnt give a damn.And on Twitter they said "email us", by my customer service from them,I dont have very nice things to say to them.And to think you got two 87 ones and thats the one I had the problem with.Whats Adams email?Maybe I'll get an actual response from him.

So these would be cast from the neca bios with the exception of a few minor changes on berserker and tracker?

Yes. t's mostly for display/accessory purposes or f one of your others may have broke.

When i recieved my copy mine ones arms moved perfectly but when i tried to move the legs even with the hot water mod, one of em snapped.
Good thing i wasn't going to move his legs anyway. Its weird how some are good and some are brittle...

On my first elder it was his left (sword holding) elbow. On this replacement elder, its his right (claws) hand elbow. I hardly touched both of them in both cases, and SNAP.

I am still waiting to hear from NECA also.

My P2 Elder snapped at the elbow joint on his left arm, and his plasma cannon joint was broken out of package so I opened an extra I had and upon further inspection I noticed that the right thigh pad wasn't there. and it wasn't in the package, which lead me to the outcome of it wasn't even placed on the figure.

Tsk-tsk... NECA needs to step it up on the QC. I really hope we don't have the problems with the new wave coming out.

Just now contacted NECA via Email again. I really, truly hope I get a response with a positive outcome. I made sure to be friendly and precise in my description of the issue(s) with my Elder's so I hope they can get it fixed.
