Predator Costume For Shorter Folk?

Apologies if this has been asked/answered before in this forum, but I was wondering - for someone under 7 feet, Say around 5' 10", how would you recommend making a suit that adds a few feet to make you more authentic? Not sure how you'd hide your toes inside the legs if you put on stilts; and putting platforms under the feet might look a bit odd.

Elevator shoes are your best bet. I bought some a while back that lift 6" and don't look very obvious

EDIT: I've also heard the suit itself will add a couple of inches so that'll help too

The thing about doing really high lifts is if you're not careful you can ruin the whole look. It just doesn't look right if the lower legs are a foot longer than upper legs. I'm 5'6", and with the mask/bio, and 4" lifts I make it to about 6'1". Still very short, but proportion was more important to me than height.

You won't really be able to add a "few feet". Being realistic there ain't many 7" people out there.

Add two or three inches to the feet, as the guys said not too much or it will just look like a Pred wearing platforms.
The costume itself will add bulk and the mask will give you an extra few inches.

This (http://www.thehunterslair.com/topic/4489-platforming-feet-tutorial/?hl=lifts#entry47842) is how I did mine.  You can't really tell there's lifts in there at all.  I could have gotten away with more height, but used the boots I had on hand.  There's plenty of info on different way people have added height.  Search around, you're likely to find something that works for you.

adding height is always one of those things to be careful with.. as mentioned if you over do it, it looks terrible and can really take from the whole suit.

for me personally i will always look at the feet i am using for a build. I have used mannowars on several commissions and in my opinion are one of the best for hiding lifts internally. 

they dont look out of proportion and you can get 4-6 inches if you do it right.. 

there are other feet out there that will also allow youto add lifts that are not that noticable..

but remember a few inches on the  feet and then the added height with the head and of course bio, it doesn't be long adding up

Frankenpred is something to be avoided, concentrate on getting as good a suit as you can, and moving like the predator, those factors are way more important than being 7ft ( if you are not that tall )
Preds like humans come in all shapes and sizes, its one of the things that separates us from other characters. the design and quality should come top of the list, and let the height fall where it may.

Me, I cheat. Since I don't do conventions and only use my costumes for fan films, I can use editing to make myself look as tall as I want. In reality I am a scrawny little guy, but I can look pretty impressive on film. Tee hee hee.
