Posts showing per thread page

I'm probably overlooking something obvious, but is there a way for me to change the number of posts I see per page of each thread?

1) click "User CP"

2) click "Edit Options"

3) under "Thread Display Options" you will find "Number of Posts to Show Per Page"

4) click the drop down and make you selection

5) click "Save Changes" at the very bottom

I didn't know there was an option for that either.
