Just wanting to get the opinions of people with a lot of casting experience, is it worth backing up a polyurethane casting with fiberglass? would this give it less chance to crack if it was dropped?

Thanks! :D

Not really. If one is tacky, you could get a mechanical bond, but there wont be a chemical one.

Like Frank said.. You would need to glass it when its tacky or even go back with fiberglass and the plastic used to cast the part. If glassing into a cured part you will get de lamination if you ever dropped it.
