There was saved topic I had a while back here that somehow got deleted and someone found what kind of knife this was, but I cannot find info on the net anywhere about this knife:

I would be ever so grateful for any information.

Also, I am looking for a place that sells knock-off Prada clothing, mainly the sweater used by The Carver in Nip/Tuck. It is a black half-zip sweater from the Winter 2004 collection and I just can't find that thing anywhere.

Much appreciated.

Google Gil Hibben throwing knives

It was a Gil Hibben thrower but an older model iirc.

Why is thing so difficult to find on the net? Surely someone carries this model of knife... any good sites anyone can reccommend? This style is just cool anyway, why would they stop selling it?

It's hard to find because it's an older generation thrower and just isn't made anymore. They stopped selling it because he's constantly changing his products.

It's doubtful that you're going to find a retailer who still has it in stock. If you're lucky, you might find one on eBay, but be prepared to shell out some dough for it, as the older Hibbens are quite collectible.

FYI: You can find a photo of the one you're after on the cover of Hibben's throwing knife instruction book. I believe it's the same as in the photo, except they ground off the 'hooks' on the lower front and back of the blade.

If I remember correctly, that's a knock off of a Hibben. I did a comparrison a while back. I'll see if I can find the pics.

HERE are some pics of the Hibben knife.

And the box picture HERE.

try getting the model#/name and calling up Smokey Mountain Knife Works. I was there this summer and I asked about some no longer made stuff, and they were able to find some in thier store for me. Though it wasn't Hibben, and what I was looking for went out of production two years ago.

Personally I don't care if it is a genuine Hibben or not. It's for my Carver costume and as long as it is replicated just like that knife I'm happy. Any online sellers have these? Thx for the references on some pictures. I wish I knew the model# on that. Funny... 5 months ago I saw multiple auctions for that knife, now (when I'm looking for one to buy) there's not one in sight for weeks.
