AFAIK, Jenny Greenteeth's an Olde English fairy story villain for frightening kids... But she popped up on a few books of late including one by Terry Pratchett.

Yup... did a little reasearch when I was planning the puppet. It started really from a vague memory of an illustration in Brian Froud's Fairies Book.

As it turned out, my memory was completely faulty, but the character I had in mind was valid. I ran to google and did a search for "Swamp Hag" and got a whole wikipedia entry on swamp hags, sea hags, and the like.

I talked to John Riddell ( Scottish artist, did a lot of work for Alien War ) a while back about commissioning one of the Labyrinth goblins... Really should chase that up sometime!
