It take me 4 days to get to Cali by car UM...I'd rather fly, LOL. :p

But your right Aelynn, flights are $$$$$. I've never flown before either, LOL. So meds are $$$$. :lol :p ;)

Looks pretty good BTW, I love how you do all this stuff to these wigs, it's fantastic! :D

Your wig looks great! I tried curling one once, and it melted the hair, and ruined my curling iron! :rolleyes:lol

Thank you! I have no idea how I do it but I somehow manage...it's only kanekalon too...not even heat resistant!

Anything under $30 that's super cheap plastic synthetic, I've also melted. Kanekalon can apparently withstand heat up to 250 degrees ( I think? Might wanna double check that...lol ) before it melts...

I have a ghetto curling iron that only has 2 settings on it so I use the second for a while and when the hair starts getting a bit squishy from it being to hot I switch it down to the first and later back up to the second...seems to keep it from getting too hot. I also use a super strong hairspray on each piece before I use the curling iron. I think this must be a contributor to protecting it slightly cause I used the same curling iron and low-hi technique on the same wig before and it just got all squiggly and melty.

Or maybe it's just luck. I have no idea! It seems like some days I can do it and other days it just melts. But I think the only thing I did different was use the hairspray on each piece this time. Did that with my Giselle wig too and it curled well!

I'm both excited and scared to wear this beast. It's like a ginger poodle. :| But I'm looking forward to wearing some sassy red lipstick. Muahahah!

Unfortunately, I am heartbroken that the Pirate Cruise I was going to on Friday is cancelled! :( BLEGH. So now this is the wig that will never be worn... well...there is a Pirate weekend in Milton, ON at the end of July/beginning of August so we might go there instead. Hopefully! The wig is just too cute to never see the light of day! D:

Long boats in which British Navy sailors disembark to inspect the shipwreck? Also note Mr. Gibbs. His clothing is very intact and not weathered as in POTC 1/2/3. He also is wearing boots. Note his breeches are pristine!

Said Pirate in black has a blue leg

me thinks said leg will be edited out

and anyone else find it unsettling that the wood from the wreck is ALL black
like there was no paint or anything, just flat out black

i know there is fire there, but even with that much wood and the rain they have going im sure youd see some wood color or paint survive

veeeeeeeery interesting... since people don't usually grow legs back, I wonder if as opposed to being a flashback, Barbossa was successful in finding the Fountain of Youth after some trials and tribulations. Though it seems the only thing it reversed was the growth of his beard. xD Of course, he could be touched up CGI later too. HMMmMMmMM!

Wow, barbossa's favorite color is blue too. Which is crazy, because so is mine. However...I've never loved blue so much I painted my leg blue. But Barbossa loves blue more than me. So...You know...He has the right to do so.

that blue may be there to swap out his leg for a peg or something of the sort... his leg should'nt just be blue... that makes no sense...

jk. I think we all know it's for blue screen of some sort! i don't want him to have a peg leg though! D: Davy had one and that was good enough for me.

Sorry -

They're having some problems with a few shots they'd planned so maybe you'll get lucky. I so wish i could tell more - but it would ruin the movie and this thing may just be up there with the first movie.
