lame...on my computer in photshop I can see the pics in full res which means you can zoom in real close but on here I guess it doesn't load like that....anywho.....hope someone finds these useful!

EE, you should zip them into a single file and upload them to rapidshare or something. I would love to see the high res versions! Great pics!

Again, thanks a lot for those pictures!! I'm not "On Stranger Tides" yet, but still, great stuff to see up-close. You have some more of the shrunken head?

I'll have to get Craig to do that zip file thing as I have no idea how to do it. As for the shrunken head these are the only pics I have but I cropped them in their full res views so hopefully that shows more detail.

So I kind of scanned through this thread... but there's way too much here and too little time for me to look through it.

So I am interested in putting together a Capt Jack outfit... are there any vendors that provide such clothes? If so, could someone please provide me with some links?

I would, however recommend that you "do the reading". Make yourself an expert before you make a decision on vendors.

Wow thanks for that link! That's exactly what I needed. I will be sure to research any items I am interested in first before buying it.... I just needed somewhere to start. Right now I am mainly interested in the frock and the tricorn,... or maybe just the bandana.

Hmmm, with careful consideration, I think... I will embark on a full on OST Jack Sparrow costume. I have some good pieces to start with, and lots of time to collect all the jackage, and with the multitude of Jack Sparrow tutorials, and reference material, I think I can do it. ETA: October 2011

There's enough Jackage out there to be found and bought and be modified... The only thing that scares me is ...the wig!!

I'm bidding on this for my strumpet costume... Thought I'd throw some dreads in it, but without all the trinkets, (well maybe a couple)

But after I use it for the strumpet at NorCal, I'm going to use it for the Jack in combo with a brown wig, either for dread making or whatever for a Jack wig, unless I totally bail, and end up buying one.

I sent all my vest fabric out to be made into corsets, but I still have a set left that I can "dirty down" for a OST vest.

Yeah! MT could afford the real deal but they went the cheap route. I am not too happy about their Jack figure! I stood right next to it and was not impressed.

It's a shame really. The portrait is very well done off course (perhaps a bit to smooth lookin'). I remember the first version, I've seen up close. It also had some cheap plastic stuff, like the Piece of Eight at the time. But now, with this fabric and very fake looking wig... Okay from a distance, but dissappointing when standing next to it, while THAT is the thing that it's all about with those sculpts...
