Pics from Our Outpost Special Charity Appearance

In conjunction with the worldwide celebrations for the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars, members of the 501st Legion Malaysia-Brunei Outpost made a special 2 day appearance at a local shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the Movie Carnival 2007 over a recent weekend.

A photo opportunity was provided whereby members of the public could come up on stage to have photographs taken with their favourite characters. Movie Carnival 2007 sponsor, Hewlett-Packard, printed the photos complete with a special Star Wars frame for a fee. The proceeds from three appearances over the course of two days were handed to the selected charities, the Selangor Cheshire Home and the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM).

This is marks the first time I trooped in my ANH Vader costume. Also with me was my wife in her Red Royal Guard costume.
