Pacific Rim: Newt's Tattoos

Hi!
I'm pulling a cosplay together of Newt from Pacific Rim and I was wondering if anyone had a hi-res scan of his tattoos? I've found some fan made sketches, but not much more. :\ Does anyone have any experience in using nylons as arm sleeves? Or recommend the best marker to use?

Also, can anyone direct me to a trusted contact lens store that has the busted eye vein look? I keep finding vampire red eyes.

Thanks so much!

As far as I know, there are no high res. The fan drawings on google image are not completely accurate, but I also think the actual tattoos used on film are slightly different from the art book pic.

I did a sleeve commission for a friend. The main thing is you'll want to only stretch the nylons to arm width or else they'll be all stretched out, even after washing, they're never quite the same. So make some sort of arm-sized form to work on. The fabric markers will grab the nylon, so it helps if you do more of a stipple, kind of like you're doing a real tattoo. I used these markers because they were inexpensive, permanent, and lots of colors: Amazon.com - TULIP 28976 Fine Writers Marker, 20-Pack - Permanent Markers

As for the contacts, the only company that I know that does them is 9mm, but they're expensive and priced per lens, not pair: 9mm Sfx Theatrical Contact Lenses - Eye Trauma
A good tip for faking red eyes is to line the waterline of your eye with red eyeliner. It gives a pretty sickly bloodshot effect.
