Pumpkinhead. I didn't think I'd like it, but I do. Great horror movie vibe, very Winston.
 
When I heard it was Rodriguez directing, I had a vision of Brody unmasking the Predator, announcing "You are one UGLY M_______ F_______" and then revealing it to be Danny Trejo, no makeup at all.

Kinda what i thought. I thought the "super race" would look like some stupid mutated goons right out of Concrete Jungle, but I actually kind of like this one for some unknown reason. At least it looks scary and not goofy like the Predator 2 and AVP1 designs.


BTW, i dont know what happened to the Winston P1 pred, but for some reason it looks a bit more like Scar from AVP in that album..... bummer.

Am I the only one totally excited to see:

a P1 style predator?!?

Even though I think this movie is going to be horrid, I will go see it just to see that!

The original predators retarded brother....that is not allowed to leave the home planet....
 
Just the fact that there's a token bad-a$$ woman in this movie is absurd. That politically correct nonsense has to go. It's the 'in thing' in every single Hollywood movie nowadays. A little 5 foot tall girl throwing around 250 pound guys, kicking them through doors etc.
In the original 'Predator', Arnold smashed his fist into the Preds face as hard as he could and it shrugged it off. How are Adiran Brody or this woman going to fare?
All the best scenes I saw in the trailer were shot for shot copied from "Predator'. The waterfall, the snare net, levelling the forest with a mini gun...
I don't know about this.

P.S. Robert Rodriquez is NOT directing this movie. He's producing. It's directed by Nimrod Antal.

Oh you arent the only one. thats what got me drawn to the film in the first place. they look they they captured the look about 95%. the back of the head and the eyes are the only thing i have issues with. MAYBE the mandibles too... but not too much.

Is it just me or does the "new" predator resemble the beast from "THE RELIC"?! :confused Like the design, but not sure if it fits into my Predator universe ;)

I thought the same thing.... very similar... but i agree with the other post. maybe its a pumpkinhead/relic hybrid
