Is this old news? After YEARS of searching for the best Elsa lighter replica, I found out (as many of you might have known) that Zippo has (finally!?) released an Indy lighter.

Here is the description:

"You are Looking at an Exact Replica of the Indiana Jones Elsa's "Lucky Charm" Clover Leaf Pattern Zippo lighter that comes in a collectible tin with original box. The lighter is a Brushed Finish Chrome Zippo with a painted enamel face, On Both Sides of the Lighter is a Four Leaf Clover on a Field of White.

The Indy name is taken from Indiana Jones, starring Harrison Ford- who appeared with this Style Lighter in One of His Famous Adventures-"The Last Crusade"! This was Indy's "Lucky Charm" lighter given to him by Elsa Schnieder! Zippo saved him and his Father Sean Connery as they used the lighter to burn the ropes they were bound in! This is a perfect gift for the Dr. Jones enthusiast. Item is also a innovative gift idea for the Irish and Celtic collector!

Light up your favorite brand with MADE IN AMERICA pride. This high quality Zippo product is guaranteed for life! Product is 100% brand new and still has the factory sticker on the back of the lighter."

I have read a few reviews that the white paint chips off easy, so careful about that if you buy one. While probably a bit more expensive, I just picked one up from Amazon.

I'm actually pretty happy with the replica I got from "Relic Raider(?)" at COW. The badges are pretty good and handled scratches OK.

Still nice to have an official option.

This one is just a glorified sticker on the surface. Mine's wearing off.
Relic raider is the way to go.

Wow, how sad that its not as durable as it could be!

Yeah that sucks, I guess Zippo takes pride in the lighter itself but doesn't extend that guarantee to the paint jobs? I would kinda wanna use this just as much as display it, $40.00 you'd think they'd use more than a sticker :cry

Probably should just buy a silver one and paint the thing myself.

looks like a pretty simple little icon. I could run up some laser cut vinyl masks if anyone wants to make their own.

and thus The Replica Prop Forum came into being.
it's the same complaint for all official replicas.

Uh, I know your post is over a year old, but would you still be interested in making a batch of these? I can't speak for anyone else, but (depending on screen accuracy and durability) I'd buy a couple to fit the 200 series Zippo.

Lost my Relic Raider one, and he's not making anymore as far as I can tell...

He makes them on demand. You email him, and he'll get you one out of his next batch.

Anyone know the status on Relic Raider? Can't seem to find the website and I'd love to get my hands on one of his Elsa zippos.

His site is: http://relicraider.110mb.com/

It appears to be down at the moment, & FWIW, he doesn't always offer them. You kind of have to catch him when he has time to build them.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I noticed that the site was down and wasn't sure if maybe it was old and there was a new one. Is he a member on the boards here or does anyone know his email address?
