Nightwing young justice hockey gear costume

i want to make a Nightwing costume for halloween an im thinking of using a black zenti suit and spray painted hockey gear for the armor. heres the gear ill be using let me know if you think it will be to bulky.

i will paint it black and add the Nightwing logo in the middle.

Let me know if you think this is a good idea.

I have been costuming for a number of years....and I have found that if it is YOUR idea....then it's a good one.....one of the basics I have learned is....make it your own........looking forward to seeing this finished.
