NIGHTWING... Vero strikes again

I just wanted to let everyone know what has happened with this suit. I ran the full 7 days on ebay. In 24 hours it was at the reserve. But after the auction closed- Warner Brothers stepped in, sent a C&D to the seller. I have never heard of this. Usually Vero steps in before the auction closes.

The person who was selling the suit was not the investor. He was only the one who produced it. The investor (my friend) is trying to recoup the money he invested. There are people who have a problem with the seller/producer- so I believe someone reported the auction to Vero and WB. There are so many other bat suits being sold on ebay and out of the blue this one gets a C&D? Smells very fishy. If anyone on this board has ever had their auction pulled you know how frustrating this can be. Especially when it is a revenge tactic.

I know there were allot of people interested is this suit. If you were one of them bidding on the auction let me know.It would be a shame not so see this suit on someone at a con.

Bob was commisioned to sculpt this suit and my friends over at cosandfx.com are selling them. So this plug has nothing to do with Bob- I don't have a direct line to him. I'm sure you can track him down and send him a message on his board (Dullam Causey chat)

If the auction was completed and there was a winning bid, the seller should be allowed to complete the transaction. I was able to do that when someone tried to turn me in on a Necronomicon book cover. If Ebay and VERO are going to be bitchy about it, take the transaction outside Ebay.

I'd bet a Nightwing movie is in the works if they came down as hard as that.
