Well, short, but funny. My roommate's girlfriend has rather a large mouth, with what would seem an inexhaustible energy. She's constantly talking. If he walks off, she comes back to my area and chews MY ear off. Even if i'm on the phone with my fiance....who's in AUSTRALIA! We do love her tho. She's the sister i never wanted. So rewind about 2 weeks before v-day. She's on my roommate about what he wants for Valentines day....he tells her he doesn't know, which evolves to "I don't care", which further evolves to him just not saying anything back. She doesn't take the hint, and he finally cracks, looks at her and says "How about a mute button for your mouth?" So here's where I come in. She's got a bit of spunk to her, and decided, if that's what he wants, that's what he gets. So she comes to the resident prop maker. And my latest creation is born! A simple build honestly. A Dollar Tree tap light, painted the base black, masked off the letters with some scrap book letter stickers i got from Hobby Lobby, and painted the dome red over the letters. A couple layers of clear over it all, and off we go. Tell me what you think.
