Updated with new pictures of the T1 and T1000 busts

Hello guys

I just wanted to share a quite a few pictures of my latests work. I have made these for an RPF member, and he truly is a big Terminator collector, I tell you that.:lol
I am working with a fourth bust for him, and that will be from T3.

Anyway, the T1 and T1000 busts were made by Howard S (Chewie15) and he really captured Arnolds look in T1 back in 1984, still one of my favourite busts from Howard, well done Howard:thumbsup The T1000 didn´t get that much attention though, but it sure is a great sculpt.

The T2 and T1 busts were actually chromed at the real way, buy a proffessional company, and it wasn´t cheap.
I didn´t get the chance to chrome the T1000 though in that proffesional way, so I spray painted it with chrome spray.

Wow Bjoern, that is some serious stuff. All busts are done extremely nice but I must say my favourite is the T1 bust. Your painting skills are awesome, now I can't wait for my Nomak! TOP!

That's a cool looking set. The T1 is my favorite - always preferred the emotionless, yet intent look he had in that movie. The T2 bust kinda reminds me of John Travolta with that hair... think it needs trimming a little. The T-1000 is great too... is that a Howard S?

Incredible, how did you get the nerve to cut up the leather jackets though, man, I'd have a hard time doing that! Did you pick the jackets up cheap somewhere? The only criticism I have Bjorn is the blood on the T2 arnie. I think you overdid it with the long streams of blood, I think it would have looked much better without that. I don't think there was that much blood on the screen used Arnie.But other than that, you really upped the anty on these man.I really love the T-1000 and the T-1 Arnie, outstanding!!!!

Well... if it was the intention to go for the screen look, then definitely use a lot less blood and bright red and make it more pinkish-burnt-flesh. If it was to make an interpretation of how it would actually look ... I think it turned out great... though... take out some of the glossiness off the blood and make it more dried up and flakey in places... though... may make it too realistically sickly gross... but that's cool too! lol

That T1 bust is incredible. Perfect IMO.

The T1000 is also very nice.

I agree with the others about the T2 bust. The paint job is incredible.

But, the hair is too long and needs to be styled better and the blood "streams" are a bit much.

I am VERY impressed with your work.

Yes the T1000 was sculpted by Howard S, (Chewie 15) and he did a great job.
On some of the pictures the colors are not correct, as the light was different.
And also, it was taken with different cameras, and actually a couple with a mobile phone.:lol

Steve, I bought the jackets pretty cheap on ebay, therefor I had the guts to cut them:lol I used more blood as I don´t want to be 100% exact all the time. But also, there was some nasty air bubbles on the cast that I had to make something to cover it.

The reason why I am using a glossy tough on the blood, is that it look alot better, than if it was dry. Because it doesn´t look organic enough when it´s dry, just a big toy figure, no more.:cool

Well, I don´t think the hair should be any shorter, Sideshows version that they now are showing on Comic-Con is a great bust, but to short hair.
And sometimes, I want to capture the look that I feel look best. And it doesn´t have to be accurate.

One other thing, is that the T2 bust has real hair, and that makes it alot more alive. I hope to be able to start working on more busts without sculpted hair in the future, I just love bald castings.:lol

Well... a trick I learned regarding blood, to darken it up a little, was to give it a coat of transparent green on top to give it some texture - I know it sounds weird, but it works. On the runs, you can also use a highly thinned matt dark brown to tone down the red and the glossiness... but of course - your choice! Looks great already! :thumbsup

Do you get your jackets from one specific seller on ebay? I'd like to snag a few and try this technique. Man, i keep going back to this thread, this is my favorite work of yours so far Bjorn. I'm just blown away, Your client is going to be a happy camper, that's for sure.

Yeah, the chrome looks fantastic, as does the paint up. I do agree on the hair -- a bit Travolta, or Matt Dillon-ish... But then again, as Bjorn stated, this is a personal interpretation, as opposed to a direct copy.

It is real chrome...Same as we used on our Endoskulls and endoarms. And the same Sideshow uses on theirs. Except the hole in the head on T-1000.

Yes it´s real silver chrome, pretty expensive, but well worth it.:lol
