We widen the hip/ waist area to be more shaped to meet the legs better.
Otherwise the legs whould stand chubby and very sharply outwards without having a logic closure and mecanical conection.

The back were you se the spine ... Well thats not done yet. We plan to add the shoulder plates on the right and left side on top. But you will still se the spinal cord between the plates.

Please post your opinons on the progress so far.

So what's your final casting compound? Will it be a completely flexible suit or will it be a combo of hard plates and flexible elements for movement?

-Gordon

And what about mobility?? I think those joints will not work, the suit will look ripped, broken. For example, when separated, there will be a gap between chest and abdomen. How do you will fix it?

Very good sculpture by the way! I love the mechanical sculptures :D

ARMOR: Glassfiber.
UNDERMOR (Front from crotch and up and back from butt with spinal) cord..: ABS & Rubber. ABS will look better. Rubber will look good but give more movement.
GLOVES: Rubber
NECK: Rubber.
JOINTS UNDER DETAILS: Rubber.

FX: LED LIGHT IN CHEST, GLOVES... Trying to figure how to do the eyes without me beeing blinded AND without getting a tunnel sight. :cool

HYPERDYNE LABS... ANY SUGGESTIONS? :confused

Looking really good. Great job. Looking forward to the finished piece.

SO AM I..:)

I want to know if there are aspects of the costume you like or dont like.
Any thoughts on the design. Its a mix of movie and Civil War.

So you're going along the lines of robocop for seperations?

Good plan, I think.

Well... :confused Its a total overlapping armor so its only one way to go.
The costume it self is more complex buildt up but it does have the same features as a medival armor.

Legs, joint by the knee, boots under armor.
Underarmor body. Chest and back.
Arm with joints by the albow down to underm.
Gloves under the underarm.

You guys are going with hard molding? Awesome work and detailing so far!

Thanks for sharing.

Stay safe,

Tim.

I have a feeling I know what you're doing but man, if that's the route, its going to be costly. Anyhow, I want to bounce a molding question off of you, mind if I PM you ?
