Dubean33 over on the 405th modified Sharkheads new helmet to make it much more accurate and even included a pepakura hinge to allow for the separate back piece to slide inside the helmet! (theoretically)

I think this is the most accurate pepakura helmet to date!

Geeze they're fast. I just finished that dungbeetle/sharkhead pep TODAY and already it's obsolete!

Oh ****! I needs to get Sharkhead on the phone and tell him! He'll love this!
Oh and I am a little ticked since it took me 6-7 hours to pep the ORIGINAL helmet DuBean unfolded for the mashup. You know what, if I decide to pep it, I'll give away my original pep in the Junkyard. My original is completely ready to resin so if I make DuBeans new one I'll definitley give away my already pepped one. I'll update my Ironman post with better pics than my current ones.

WAIT!!! new version in 2 hours at the most :lol

I hate to do this to you again, but version 2.1 will be unfolded in the next few hours. It does not include the hinge as some flaws in the design were made known me. Also that the hinge is rather big. Quartermain3000 has come up with a fairly simple way to scratch build a hinge that will not add any thickness. I think this is a better idea than having a pepped hinge. If you guys want to build v2.0 go for it, i think it would be fairly easy to not include the hinge if you so choose. Lastly, some vertices in the eye piece and jaw line were cleaned up for v2.1 and should help alleviate some stress in the pepping stage for you all

sweet, my patience has rewarded me. This will be my first attempt at this whole new world of paper craft. Muaghhh! I'll make sure to wield my exacto knife with the utmost care as I endeavor to avoid the dreaded paper cut! From the first hum of the printer to the last sanding of the filler putty, I'll do my best to make Tony Stark proud!!!!!

he talked about it in the thread on the 405th. the extras that the mkV has can be added when your sanding the bondo. most likely how im gonna do it. i think he's making more accurate war machine too.
