Hey guy's does anyone have any different pics of this speeder. I know this was a larger scale model but i figured i'd do something different with mine and scratch the exposed detail under the wing panels.
Fantastic idea to take some of the elements form the big one,
and bring it into your SS version. I did the same with the one I scratched,
I kind of wished I would have added the other open panel up in front!:lol
I didn't use any of the original parts just winged it, but i had fun! Just make sure when you build it it doesn't encroach into the lower hulls space.
Thats a really nice build man excellent job , What scale is your speeder? Please feel free to post some more pix of your build i would love to see more. There doesn't seem to be many pix of the ILM pyro anyway so this is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Drawing out the reference lines for the exposed access circuitry panel.
Panel opening cut away.......
Cleaned up.....
You will have to make a ramp underneath but be careful it's overall
depth doesn't encroach into the lower hulls space, or the hulls joining
will be a problem!
I found some real metal grill from a old golf cart and super glued it in
place later it was trimmed up.
Don't mind the shape of those cooling fins they were changed later!:lol
Mate , thanks for the pix this is just an awesome scratch build. i can only hope mine turns out half as good as this. I am hoping there may be some more pix in "The Making Of ESB" when it arrives next week , if not i'll just have to improvise. i have made a start and will post some pix in a week when i get back in town.
