Need help identifying parts for Jigsaw Gauntlet

I was working on trying to ID a few parts to gather to make Jigsaw's Hidden blade gauntlet which he used to slash Detective Tapp's throat in the first SAW movie, but I am having a bit of a problem in finding the exact part. The part which I outlined in red is the part I am trying to find. Does anyone know what kind of a part it is?? I thought it looked like some sort of a modified thread tapping handle, but outside of that speculation, I don't know if it is even production made for the film. And I also need help trying to identify the black "sportsman's shin-guard" which the whole device was mounted on to be worn. If anyone can help me identify these parts, it will help me out a lot and narrow my list a lot and help will be appreciated!

I highly doubt they custom made that piece. I would look into rod clevis ends, my money is on a couple of identical ones with a length of threaded rod connecting them.
