Need help determining legitimacy of Graflex 3 cell

Hi guys, I was just curious as to whether or not this 3 cell is a replica, the real thing, or both.

It seems mostly legit, but the stamp on the bottom makes me a little suspicious as there is no patent number...

I should note that this graflex is being sold by "deanb" and has stated that it is a real, vintage replica with all original parts. However, I'm new to this prop/replica game and don't want to dive into anything unless I'm absolutely sure...

My suggestion is based on the fact, that the finish is too bright/ clean IMHO, no tarnishing on the brass pins and a too chromed button/ glass eye.

Ask for pics of the Graflex´ inside, the pin that holds the ears and the lettering on the clamp.
Based on that, the flashgun gurus of this board (led by SymCha :lol) will help you out ;)

That seller only sells genuine vintage G R A F L E X flashguns ... always very prestine looking ... this is the version for ESB without the patent# :)

Even more info than I anticipated! I was considering grabbing this along with a legitimate calculator bubble strip, but do you think I should go for an ESB instead? Maybe a good idea with TFA on the way...

Man, you have no idea... This started about two weeks ago when I bought a resin replica of Han Solo's ESB blaster. It was supposed to stop there. Now I have 5 items on the way, and you're telling me I should buy MORE!?

My wallet can't take it! ...but what if I never see another one for sale?

Thanks for all the help everyone! This is a crazy and costly adventure but I can't wait to get started!

There's always going to be vintage flashguns for sale . . . but after TFA premieres prices might rise even further . . . at least this 'rare' one without the patent# you found is very prestine looking, even I don't have that variant in my collection, and it comes with the correct red button, which it normally does not ... so don't hesitate for to long :wacko

Thanks, I've been studying this actually. The seller had shipped the graflex within about six hours of my purchase, talk about quick service!
