Need Boba Fett Helmet Info

I have a friend at work that wants to buy a Boba Fett Helmet

Before I post a WTB thread I need to be schooled in what is available.

He set his price limit at $200 plus shipping so what can he get for that?

Is he looking for one finished or in kit form?

Finished will be very difficult to get in that price range.

Realistically you're gonna have to get a kit and paint it yourself, it's a fairly complicated paintjob not a simple spray and go which is reflected in the price of finished helmets.
SgtFang does a reasonable priced kit.

He doesn't want to paint it and I don't want to paint it for him.

What should he expect to pay for a decent painted helmet?

I paid $400 for the MR version and it is quite nice. The retail price thought is $549 and with a fast google search the lowest price I could find was $500. I have seen custom lids that are more accurate with good paintjobs go for alot more than that, so the upper limit is very high.

Agree with the others that $200 will not get a nice finished helmet.

I suspect decent paint jobs from experienced painters start at around $300 and go up from there. Then you have the price of the helmet on top of that. I'd say just hunt down an MR between $400-$500 if he wants something ready to go out of the box.
