NECA Freddy glove - who has em'?

The replica glove based on the new movie.
I just ordered mine from Amazon.com.
From what I have seen, NECA did a good job on this one. I liked the movie, but not a whole lot of 'hero shots' of the glove to compare. I will have to wait for the Blu-Ray to see if NECA's item stands up to the real deal.
I have read here and there that some people were unhappy with the glove and were changing it out (easily done since the metal 'harness' is detachable from the glove). I have to do some checking up on what the real leather glove looked like in the movie - but I don't recall it looking black as some might be seeing. I think they are judging the glove color based on the scene where the glove comes out of the bathtub - in which case, the glove is wet and will appear darker.
Most of the time we see Freddy, it's pretty dark in the scene so we never get a good look at the glove....
When mine comes I plan on doing a full video review and will post pics here - any other owners of this item are welcome to share here...

I just got mine today. I have to say for $60 these are not going to be around long. It's awesome!

I changed the leather glove out because it is all wrong. The fingertips are cut off, the bottom is fringed a bit and it is dark brown. The one that comes with it has the palm cut out and is too light.

These fit some people on the large side but I have pretty big hands and its amost too small. Almost......

I noticed the cuff was kind of flat while the screen used glove was rounded. A quick pinch fixed that easily though.

I don't know how many of these they made but I but they sell out and rise in value pretty quick.......

I'm posting from my cellphone but when I have time I will post some pics.

There are a couple of reviews up on youtube as well.....

As promised.....

Seems to be the best place to get these right now - I got mine for $62+Free shipping (slow shipping, but free nontheless)
Looking forward to getting it!

Just got mine. It is strange how it is so big because there is NO WAY Jackie Earle Hailey's hands are that big.

I agree.
I just got mine - looked to fit good enough, but when it was on, I knew right away it was made to fit a larger hand. Also, the heavy metal tips of the fingers makes it hard to control moving the fingers - BUT
It is VERY well made! I wish more licensed prop replicas were offered at this quality and price. It makes a superb display piece, and the 'hand' display stand was a nice touch. I plan on keeping the box too as I feel NECA did a great job designing it.
I'm also quite pleased with the leather glove - I know some of you have had a personal taste issue with it, but the glove exceeded my expectations and as I had presumed, I will not be replacing it....UNLESS some iron-clad proof is presented that the actual film-used glove was a darker color. Sometimes, things just look different on film than in person, so the darker glove may be because of that.
All in all, I LOVE this item, and for the price it really can't be beat. I know there are many talented glove makers out there and before long, there will be replicas of the glove made that are even better than the NECA version, but for $70, you're getting a quality replica that was obviously produced with pride and passion.
A+

I noticed it was a bit tough to control the fingers like you wanted to, but I think once I get a real glove in there, I will keep the fingertips on and shove em in there, that should fix the problem

Yeah, I replaced the glove, and just having the finger tips helps enormously. Also, bending the wrist cuff to be more round helped as well.

What is that pattern on the "tendons?" Is that supposed to be a pattern embossed on whatever metal he used, or weathering/damage? If it's supposed to be damage, it looks totally crap compare to the rest of the metal bits (which look fabulous).

The tendons are supposed to have a very old warped copper look about them, like they had been banged into place, but yeah on the neca its looks more like fake damage.
