Hello,
I had many request to show my Warship from one of my favorite pics
of all time "WAR OF THE WORLDS." 1950's version.

The ends do not light up. The upper eye WILL and greeen glow from below.

I truly want a Mr. Predictia version with all the bells and whistles.
This will hang 9' feet in the air ABOVE the life sized Martian below recently posted.

Thanks for peeking.

Looks very good...nice detailing and green glow simulation. My father-in-law built a similarly scaled version and had some trouble keeping the neck from falling over. I think his kit was made by Lunar Models but I could be wrong. He ended up selling it to a local hobby shop because it was taking up too much space in his prop room.

By the way, I love your LIS Robot in the background.

I like what you did with the paint for the main body it looks very distressed .
one critique, the front blister does not run straight across like you have shown I think if you gave it the correct curve it would look way better as now the front looks too deep. see my shot for reference I hope that makes sense. :confused

Thanks for mentioning my kit
at the risk of hijacking this thread here is a shot of my three footer painted and lit.

The second shot shows what Im talking about

No worries at all mr.predicta...]

Your work on this is brillant.

I very much want one of yours when I can get one.
Especially with the sound and light kit.

Thanks for the pic..

Very cool. That's one of my favorite movies. Did you make the Martian too?
[/b]

No I didn't.

I sadly was born with no talent.
:cry :cry :cry :cry :cry

A very skilled artisian made this.
Truly one of a kind.

Thanks for peeking.

Another cool piece in your collection Tom ... I'd love to know what you do for a living.

Do you have a website where you can see pics of everything you own? You have one of the largest collections of life sized replicas I've ever seen.

I never get tired of seeing people's collections. Beautiful stuff. I would love to see more.

Thanks for the kind words...

In the collection I have 1- life sized 7' feet tall from ALien, I life sized Wall burster that rocks made by an RPF'er here, There was a custom "SIL" from Species that is totally amazing, I have a life sized HUGE front half of a QUEEN that is like 400 pounds, the head alone is 6 feet long. (doing a life sized ripley right now to stand besides her with a custom sculpt. Alien series is truly one of my passions.

By the way, that's a great idea about putting all my collection on line.
Is there a good easy (and safe) place to do this?

I love this hobby, passion, obession, Called "PROP"

As for what I do for a living.... hehehehehe... "Let's just say, I wish I had a dime for every dime I have" - Dudley Moore - The film Arthur

Thanks guys..
Tom

Thanks. :)

Great addition to the ever growing collection man.

I love it , and can't wait to see it up and floating in the air ready to burn down some yokels.

(give thought to a small human shaped ash pattern nearby :lol)

Chris

I've seen Tom's collection in person and it is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. :)

Looks like it has grown a bit since last year Tom? Where are you finding the space to put all this new stuff?
