My Walking Dead collection on display in my video

Hey guys, I've been collecting replica props and costume pieces related to The Walking Dead television show. I was struggling on how best to share them and then a great opportunity came up.

I have created a 60 second video entry for the Walking Dead/Dr Pepper Ultimate Fan contest. Here's the link to my video entry. Please consider viewing / voting for it (if you are so inclined). This has to be done on a computer; it isn't working on a mobile devices. Don't worry, the video doesn't suck.... I am currently in 6th place!

Here's the link.. https://ugc.gorillaspot.com/entries/167
Be sure to click on the maroon "VOTE FOR VIDEO" button.

While my entire Walking Dead collection isn't on display, several pieces are, which include:

Daryl Dixon's Horton HD125 crossbow
Rick Grimes' Stetson with badge (thanks Skruffy)
Rick Grimes' replica Colt Python (Denix conversion)
Carl Grimes' replica t-shirt
Prison's Western Electric Rotary phone
Dale Horvath's Bushnell binoculars
Rick Grimes' Motorola MT2000 walkie
Daryl Dixon's Busse Team Gemini knife
Rick Grimes' Gerber DMF folder pocket knife
Rick Grimes' grenade
Rick Grimes' bag o' guns
Milton's tea pot/strainer
Board games and books that appeared in the CDC Rec Room
And more...

Please take a peek, consider a vote, and let me know what you think.

Love the video! I thought of entering myself a while ago but I'm lazy. :) After watching your video, I have downgraded myself to casual fan anyway. Good luck!

Prison's Western Electric Rotary phone

Sweet! I myself have one of those, same model and color. :D

And dude, that was you who made the Lego figures? Those are awesome! I wish you the best of luck in the contest (I myself have chosen to stay out of it, as I do not consider myself a big fan, as the only things I have is just the phone, an autographed and hand-drawn zombie copy of Book One and some of the trade paperbacks).

Hey guy... thanks for checking out the video and throwing me some votes. I really appreciate it. Yeah, I do the LEGOs in addition to collecting props. It is cool to see that others on therpf enjoy The Walking Dead.

I'll get some decent pics added here soon. Please consider another vote... everyone is allowed daily votes... just need to wait 24 hours between hitting that magical VOTE FOR VIDEO button. I'm currently in 4th place!

And here is the most excellent Feezle-Nuts Darly Winged Vest. I opted for his Season Three versions. Here I have it displayed with my Horton crossbow and Busse combat knife...

Very jealous of your collection! I don't collect much. I usually just collect things relating to my current costumes. Would love to have some non-Daryl stuff but I have nowhere to put it.

Loved all your collection and the video was great...but I was pulled toward the Sheriff's bad in the background and the little ass kicker bed...those really caught my attention. Good luck. :thumbsup

Glad you guys are liking the collection. I believe the exact Shane gloves were identified in another earlier thread, discussing the King County Sheriff's department costume. I don't recall the exact model, but they are made by Franklin.

Glad some others (not just me) appreciate the telephone, bag o' guns, and the Lil' Ass Kicker Tote. The totes are readily available on ebay and online retailers. Just search for a product called "space tote" on ebay and places like Amazon. The bag is a black round duffle (32 or 40 inches long I think) with Sheriff patches I found on ebay.

Thanks for checking out the video and considering a vote... every vote helps! Daily voting is also allowed... just need to wait 24 hours in between votes.

I'll see if I can't post some more pics, if there is interest and as time allows.

Here's the 1950s era Western Electric rotary phone (similar to the one seen in the prison)...

I'm seriously impressed with your Lego figures, man. Seriously, when I saw your figures in the WD magazine, it made me think about actually doing a customized Lee Everett action figure in 1:18 scale (Lee from the Tell-Tale Walking Dead game, of course).

Thanks for the kind words guys.

CB2001 - so glad you like the LEGOs. I could post up some more pics if you'd like. They are a lot of fun to pull off. Love your phone... you even have the metal dial... NICE!

Kroenen77 - I don't have Michonne's katana. I know it was a custom design for the production and the original maker isn't doing reproductions. I believe someone had been licensed to make one, but I haven't heard of them being offered yet. I'd love to add a Michonne katana to the collection on day.

My video has now moved up to 3rd place. If any RPF'ers are voting, I REALLY appreciate it! Daily votes are allowed so please consider voting again.

Here's some of my Rick Grimes gear...
