My Star Wars Prop Room (aka A Hot Mess)

Hahaha no, the ones for the static hilts. They almost look like wine racks

Yes sir. They are indeed wine racks. I found them to be a cheap and space saving solution for displaying the hilts.

I used sliced section of aquarium tubing on the resting areas to keep from scratching the hilts.

Back in the day before the onslaught of licensed lightsabers, I had a bunch of fan sabers. So I had a larger wine rack.

Hello everyone. I'm knew to this site but thought I'd chime in. I'm an artist for Lucasfilm and Disney. I'm also a member of the 501st. Incredible work on this site and the collections people have are great. I'm just about ready to start a painting based on that Princess Leia black n white photo. The one I was going to go by has the autograph. Does anyone have a high res version they go share with me? Would be greatly appreciated.

Ahh dude your collection is totally off the hook, loved the Tuscan masks and the leia pic is awesome!

nice very nice, thanks for sharing:)

Man, that is an awesome collection sir :thumbsup! I love, how earlier in this thread, you said how you'd like to redecorate the room, to better fit the props. However, the redecorating funds would cut into the prop collecting funds. :lol Brother, you're singing my song there! So, as a fellow "Hot Mess Collection" displayer, I tip my hat to your wonderful collection.
Quick side notes, I do like that Al Williamson print. I almost got that one, but instead got his print of the Stormtroopers coming under the door. & your Dave Dorman pieces are fantastic as well.

I believe it was part of a QVC limited edition from the mid to late 90s. I did not get it till about 2002 when I found it as a buy it now for $75 shipped on eBay. Still in its original packaging.

Dorman is my favorite Stat Wars a artist. The LE The Empire Strikes Back SE print has a little pencil drawn snowspeeder in the corner..

Speaking of artwork...

You will notice an image of me up by the helmets:

This is a colorized image of artwork I commissioned by Joe Corroney

Here is the actual artwork I purchased:

I also own artwork of myself that was featured in a Star Wars fiction in the HoloNews section of Star Wars Insider a few years back. Yes... I used to be canon.

Here is the Character's info: Governor Jerrod Maclain... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jerrod_Maclain

I also own the signed pen and ink drawing.

Your collection is awesome I'd love to get a good size one going someday. I've got an entire closet full of the Kenner toys I had from when I was a kid but they don't quite compare to having a full size stormtrooper in the room. My wife and I have talked about having a dining room built on to our house some day and if I ever do that I may have a basement dug under it that I can use it for a prop room/work space.
