My Rogue Six - Star Wars Family Halloween 2015

Just wanted to share some pics of my kids for this year's Halloween. I found so much valuable information, tips, techniques, and ideas on the RPF. Thank you to everyone for your contributions on this great site! I started my efforts about 10 months ago to make six costumes for my kids. My 12 year old son is Chewbacca with the help of stilts and another beautiful mask from DougieFett. The rest is a collection of thrift stores, dollar stores, pipe cleaners, staples, hot glue, and a patient wife!

So other than the stilts and mask, the rest of the Chewbacca costume came from the thrift store? PLEASE elaborate.

sorry Ash.....chewy was not a thrift store build, rather a concoction of a deluxe rubies suit with lots of wig hair added to it. The other characters were lucky finds at the thrift stores, along with some trips to the dollar store.

Awesome! They are all great but I especially love the luke/tauntaun costume, it is just fantastic. Chewy of course is awesome too.

BradyMadison, I'm going to need you to elaborate on that Chewbacca. Got any tips or tricks, starting to plan out next Halloween and I know Chewbacca can be one of the most difficult costumes to complete.
