My Name Is Earl "Time off Prison" paper prop

So, last night they showed some close ups of the "Time off Prison" certificates. I downloaded the HD version for some screencaps and got these two images. Anyone want to do a quick certificate for the paper prop thread?

Oh, I think there's far less Photoshopping then you mught think.

The show is shot here in LA. I can pretty much guarantee that the Prop Master sent a flunky to Staples or Office Max (which ever is closer) and told them to pick up some blank certificate paper...like this:​

Not exactly the same, but this was a 2 min. Google search for "Certificate Paper".

Even the "official" gold seal isn't embossed. Quick 'n' dirty! In fact, It would probably be just as easy if not easier to build this in Word than Photoshop.

Oh yeah, and they're not even the same certificate in the different grabs. The handwritten text doesn't match

Hey rabbit4x, think you can do a grab of Earl's check as well?? We got a good shot of it. It shows his address, and bank account info. That would be a good one to do as well.

The signature being different makes no sense, but the time off ammounts is fine as he's shredding all his time off certificates.

The time off amounts I noticed were Six Months, One Month, and One Week.

I'd say it looks pretty good. Not sure if the "Six Months Off" font is right on, but that's being nit picky.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, but I was too lazy to find the real font, but if anyone knows the name i'll gladly change the file so it has the right font.
Also has anyone made the handwriting parts?
I guess you could just print it out and write it yourself with a pen, which is easy enough

Wow, thats a really good job. Thanks for putting this up. If you can offer the paper prop without the gold emblem, I think it look better if you out a real sticker on it. I will look for a gold seal once I can go down to the store.

Plain gold seals should be available at most stationary stores...problem is you usually have to buy like 20 of them for $10

Thank you, very nicely done! I'm printing one out right now and will get some seals this weekend.

There was also "ONE WEEK" and "ONE MONTH" off, but I don't thing we see the one month, although they do mention it on the show.

EDIT: I printed this out and the page was off centered. The right ride had a space of .75'' and the right side had a space of .25''. Do I need to mess around with the settings for printing or can I do it in illustrator? Also, this is off topic, but how can you set a size for printing an image, say for when I want to print out Serenity Bills to screen accurate dimensions?

Well if you use Photoshop under Image, Image size you can set the print size.
