My MSH1 ESB Fett Helmet Almost Complete

Hey guys, thought I'd show off my first attempt at doing a Boba Helmet.

I've never done this before, but I think it came out pretty good for a first attempt.

I keep forgetting to put the little connector dimple thingy on there, and the ears arent permanently attached just yet, but other than that, it's pretty much done.

I know the right mandible is way off, I had a lot of trouble there. Many of the other details are more of an artistic interpretation, I didn't adhere so strictly to templates and original reference. I'm not that good yet. :lol

Man, I haven't seen a pic of the DP DLX in a long time! Got any shots of it?

Edit: BTW, I added the Borden connector tonight and repainted the rangefinder. Guess I need to take more pics. Argh!

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

I learned a whole lot about painting working on this helmet. That's probably one reason it's so battered. I couldn't help myself, I just kept trying different things on him.

I'm fairly confident I could do a slightly better job if I did another, but you kinda need a breather after doing one of these! Only now do I fully appreciate the time and sweat that's put into painting a helmet like this. Bless you guys that do commissions, but I guess you wouldn't be doing it if you didn't enjoy it!
