There was a comedy "sequel" in the 70s called The Black Bird starring George Segal as Sam Spade's son. I wonder if that film used the original prop?

I've been wanting to make my own for a long time. I have no idea where to start. Seems daunting. Your bird turned out so good though! It's making me think about it again...
