My Luke ESB belt - Holster Update

Hi people,

I finally got round to trying out the holster - with the great info and advice by Uncharted Leather - thanks!
I tried to model the look of it from the holster that appears in the Costume book by Brandon Alinger.
Please any experts let me know of anything that could be done better - I reckon the height of it could come up 10mm or so.
I'm really happy to share the pattern once I feel that it's totally sorted!

Also - in screen grabs from ESB it appears the spacing of the first snap changes between the edge of the holster - possibly implying the leg strap is not riveted on but rather threaded through a slit in the back of the holster. Or this could just be due to multiple holster props with different spacing. Is there any definitive proof of the leg strap attachment?

Hi All,

I put these together for Rebel Legion as I’m also trying to build an ESB Luke utility belt rig.

(Purely ESB on-screen. No promo photos, exhibition set-ups, etc.)

Perhaps you guys can point out any glaring errors or omissions.

Hope I'm not resurrected too dead of a thread, but I too have had some trouble with my belt layout. I found that the Bespin layout here is pretty accurate from my film reference images.

Love that reference to turning down the job haha.

I'm currently sewing the pants to the costume (found the jacket, pants out of stock so I'm making them. They all needed tailoring anyway) so I'll post once I get a photoshoot.
